Four leaves the ship to meet his step-brother, who is now the emperor in his place, and to prove his innocence in the murder of his father. However, when he arrives at the meeting place, he is instead greeted by his former instructor, Akita, who takes him to be arrested. As Four attempts to convince Akita of his innocence, the crew contemplates whether they should let Four go or rescue him, considering that his royalty might make him a useful ally. They eventually decide to save him, and before escaping, Four murders Akita as a message for his brother. Once back in space, the Raza is approached by three Ferrous Corp destroyers that take out the ship's FTL drives. (1)
