OVERVIEW: THE LOST WORLD OF THE WARLORD[]

1982 the big action figure release was the 5 1/2 inch Masters Of The Universe.  Remco and DC Comics decided to tie into the formate and release there own Sword and Sorcery line of action figures.  Mike Grell popular comic book The Warlord was the perfect choice.  For some unknown reason the lineup included Hercules Unbound & Arak, Son Of Thunder. The characters from the magical world of Skartaris include:

OVERVIEW: THE BEAST WARRIORS:[]

Remco also released there own set of generic bad guys to battle against the forces of Skartaris, The Warrior BeastS.  They used parts of the same bodies and on the package they mentioned they could be played with Ark, Warlord or MOTU.  They also could have fit in with DC comics Warlord Comic Book as part of the World Of Skartaris being bipedal creatures.

Guana: a bipedal triceratops dinosaur

Hydraz: two head bipedal dinosaur

Skullman v1: bipedal male with skull head & hood

Wolf Warrior: bipedal Wolf (gray & brown)

There was a combo pack that included a giant lizards

Synopsis: After the Warlord escapes from a group of creatures who want to sacrifice him to their god, Deimos finds another way to strike at his enemy. He conjures up a warrior from the past, Arak, plucking him directly from the court of Carolus Magnus. He then brainwashes Arak into attacking Morgan.

The sorceress Angelica has her own plans for Arak and does not want him hurt or killed in Deimos's scheme. She uses the Mask of Life on a skeleton in Deimos's lair. The skeleton is that of Hercules. The hero of legend is restored to life. He attacks Deimos, who is forced to break his spell on Arak. The Son of Thunder returns to his own time period and Hercules vanishes.
