In the flash-back in Kansas, Tuilp was fighting for her life with two members of the Grail and was forced into a corn field until she gain control of her car and killed both Grail members, one in front of two Kansas kid (a 10 yeard girl and a 7 year old boy). They were surpised and giddy to see meet her and helped Tulip make a homemade bazooka. Tulip left the kids in the storm shelter and told the not to get out until it gets quite.
