Ted is a member of Jesse's church who is always complaining to Jesse about how his mother is always interfering with his life. Jesse keeps telling his "Open his heart, be honest with her" but he never does. Every time Ted sees Jesse he keeps complaining about his mother. It was the next Sunday where again Ted is complaining about his mother when Jesse was inhabited by Genesis and had the "Voice of God" and told him to "Be Brave, Tell her the truth, and open your heart". So Ted goes to Florida to the retirement home where his mother is and he surprises her. He then goes and tells her to stop calling him non-stop (in which she has no idea what he is saying) and then cutss open his chest to pull out his heart.
