In the late 1970's earty 1980's Marvel was in popular demand with the live action TV Series The Amazing Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk and there cartoon shows so the started to make appearaces at Malls, Conventions, Childern's Hospitals, car shows and where ever they were paid to show up. In the 80's Marvel was invited to the White House by First Lady Rosalynn Carter to support energy conservation.
