IM Armor Mark XLI (41) bones

The Mark XLI armor (also know as the Bones Armor) is one of the new Iron Man armors created by Tony Stark and is one of the Iron Legion. Notably it was the last Iron Man Armor Tony Stark wore.

The Bones armor was created after the battle of New York by Tony Stark. Part of the Iron Legion, Bones Armor was used by Iron Man and War Machine during their battle against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. After the Mark XL was destroyed by Killian, Stark was left armorless. To his surprise the Mark XLII survived its earlier punishment and came to him. Using it Tony trapped Killian. He set it to self destruct in an attempt to kill Killian. In order to escape the explosion Tony summoned Bones as an escape armor. However, Stark underestimated the force of Mark XLII's self destruct and the resulting explosion destroyed most of the oil platform and ripped through the Mark XLI.

It is a black and gold, lighter version of a full Iron Man suit, with a focus on speed and maneuverability. This armor has indentations and open areas in it, making the pieces of the armor fit into place and function seamlessly and giving the user more physical capabilities than most suits. Also, other pieces of armor can assemble to the base of the suit.
